Terms and privacy

In plain language. By creating an account you agree to these.

What this is

LeoLab is a hobby-grade tool for designing 3D-printable parts, run by a private individual. It is offered as it is, with no promise that it will always be available or free of mistakes.

Your account

You sign in with an email address and a password. Keep the password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can ask the owner to delete your account and everything stored with it at any time.

What is stored

On the server: your email address, a scrambled (hashed) copy of your password, your AI keys and model choices (encrypted), the projects you choose to save, your feature requests, and the parts on your plate for a few hours after you leave. In your browser: your settings and an automatic copy of your plate so a refresh does not lose it.

AI providers

The AI features use a key that you supply from Gemini, Claude, Grok or OpenAI. When you use them, your prompt, any attached image and your part descriptions are sent to the provider you chose, under that provider’s own terms and prices. LeoLab does not pay for, or see the bills for, your usage.

Your designs

Your designs stay yours. LeoLab does not claim any rights in them, does not sell them and does not show them to other users. The owner can technically read what is stored on the server, and will only do so to keep the service working or if the law requires it.

Using it fairly

Do not try to break into the server or other accounts, overload it, or use it for anything unlawful. Accounts that do may be removed.

Safety of printed parts

Check every design before you print or rely on it. Models can contain mistakes, and printed parts can fail. You use anything made with LeoLab at your own risk, and the owner is not liable for damage or loss arising from it.

Changes and contact

These terms may change; the latest version is always on this page. Questions, deletion requests and complaints: use the Requests box inside the app, or ask the person who gave you your invite code.
